NEST Impact Institute

Creating equal access to opportunities, resources, and economic independence for everyone building their future in Denmark.

NEST Impact Institute is a non-profit association based in Denmark.

We believe that where you come from should not determine where you can go. We support individuals and organisations, especially newcomers, internationals, and people in transition, to find their footing, develop their skills, and build sustainable economic lives in Denmark.

Our work connects learning, real community, entrepreneurship, inclusion and social well-being. We focus on removing the barriers that make participation harder for some than others, and replacing them with the tools, networks, and support that make a genuine difference.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen individual and community capacity by creating supportive environments where people can develop skills, agency, and economic participation in a sustainable way.

NEST Impact Institute supports people in building pathways toward self-employment and participation that enhance both personal well-being and social cohesion.

Focus

Our focus areas

At NEST Impact Institute, our work is guided by three interconnected focus areas that support long-term social impact.

Entrepreneurship and Business Development

We help people turn ideas and skills into viable businesses with practical guidance on starting    up, understanding the Danish market, and navigating available support systems.

Skills Development and Digital Literacy

We build the competencies that matter: digital tools, financial literacy, communication, and professional confidence. Hands-on, practical, and directly applicable.

Access to Networks and Professional Communities

We connect people across backgrounds, sectors, and experience levels — opening doors to the professional communities, collaborators, and opportunities that aren't always equally accessible.
